Verbal Mode
You do not have to prepare questions in advance to use CPS. You can use the engage verbal mode to ask questions to your class that may arise from discussion. You can also use verbal questions to assess if your students are keeping up with the current lesson or if it is necessary for you to review certain concepts before proceeding with the lesson.
7. Click the Verbal button and select the question format.
8. You can choose T/F, Y/N, Multiple Choice questions with up to eight choices and Numeric.

10. Ask your question.
11. As the students respond, the numbers corresponding to their Response Pads will change colors:
Blue = 1st answer
Yellow = change of answer
Red = if an unavailable choice is selected
12. When all students have responded, click End.
13. The Charting Verbal Questions window will open.
14. You can choose the type of chart to show the results and the options you want to see.
15. You can export the results to a spreadsheet.
16. You can save the chart or print it.
