Create a CPS Database
After you installed CPS on your computer, you need to create your CPS database file.
*Note: It is recommended that you create one database to manage all of your courses. File structures can be created within the database for organization.
1. Double click the CPS icon on the desktop.
2. Click on Create a New CPS Database.
3. You will see the New CPS File dialog box appear.
4. From the drop-down menu choose the C drive to save your database.
5. Create a folder by clicking the New Folder button. Name your folder "CPS Database."
6. This folder will hold your CPS database and any files you assign to it. These will include PowerPoints, graphics, and media files you associate with your CPS database.
7. Open the file you just created. In the File Name of the dialog box, type in your name or a class subject that you will easily identify as yours and click save.
